now that I’ve reached the “Back nine of life” I often wonder:

What does it mean to be a good man in the world today?

Have you asked yourself the same thing?

Here’s the problem: Our modern day culture has blurred the lines of a man’s role and purpose in life. That’s why I started Intentional Faith - to help guys like you navigate the murky waters of life and faith and grow to be the man God’s called you to be. Lets get started!

I’m glad you’re here!

I’m Shep Jordan and I’m an author, speaker, husband, father, grandfather and mentor.

Shep’s diverse life journey, both professionally and personally, have given him a unique perspective on how to live life with meaning and purpose. Beginning as an officer in the Marine Corps after college, Shep spent a handful of years following his Marine service in the corporate world. Shep then found his true calling and purpose in life: teacher, coach and mentor.

Having served 17 years in the classroom and on the athletic fields, Shep’s purpose now is to give back, using his rich life experiences to be a mentor for those seeking purpose and meaning in their life.

role models and mentors do matter

In fact, they are of critical importance, especially when it comes to setting the right foundation for boys and young men to help them become the men God intends them to be.

Shep’s vision for Intentional Faith is to provide men with practical guidance on how to create a stable and honest sense of self amidst dizzying change and deafening media.

How to get the most out of Intentional Faith

Joe Bouchelle

“Shep has the knack of communicating clearly and effectively with students in order to provide results. He balances stretch and support very well. Students like Shep, but not because he's easy. He has exacting standards. They respect his candor and care. He is a passionate coach, a caring teacher and a respected peer. I would welcome the privilege of working with him again. Shep would be a valuable member of any learning community.”
